Great location, great food, great ambience, one of my fave pubs.You always get a nice crowd in here and its one of Plymouths hidden gems as its off the beaten track. Its dog friendly and very comfy.We had a couple of starters and they were super filling and yummy, can't rate this pub highly enough :)

We visited The Fishermans Rest a couple of years ago and were so impressed we went back a couple of nights later! ( Reviewed Oct 2021) Well we were back in Plymouth so had to give it another go, we made a reservation and so glad we did as again the place was full. Based on our previous visit we had high expectations and we were not disappointed. The team had changed but again excellent service, very good wine list and choice of beer - again. Once again the food was outstanding with good portion sizes and reasonable prices. The Fishermans Arms once again delivered (to a very high standard) on all points, food, drink & service. Will we be back? - Of course we will!

Ordered pork belly roast it came with one potato asked for more potatos and got given one more.Crackling wasnt crispy apparently its fine dining to only be served one potato

I was recommended the venue by a work colleague and was lucky enough to get a booking (they managed to squeeze me in). The food is phenomenal as is the service. I had a chat with some locals who were also welcoming and happy engage. I will definitely be coming back for the menu and specials. Highly recommended the gumbo. Very friendly staff, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A real gem of a place.

Always a firm favourite, this place never ever dissapoints. Sunday roast was to die for, service impeccable and the staff so easy going. The clientele are always friendly, it's a really good vibe.
Myself and my husband came for food last night, we were very very happy with our experience the food was amazing a beautiful atmosphere the staff went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble for them I can't wait to visit again soon ?

Such a lovely little pub. We were in Plymouth for a couple of hours and a friend had recommended we try the Fisherman’s Arms. It was a bit tricky to find and if I’m honest didn’t look much from the outside. However, as soon as we opened the doors I fell in love with it! Really friendly bar staff, lovely atmosphere and so many drinks to choose from. We only had time for a couple of drinks but will definitely be back for a meal next time we are in the area. It is literally a hidden gem!

What a little gem this place is found it a few years ago and love it, visiting family here, went for Sunday roast and again few days later with family. Staff very friendly and welcoming, Sunday roast absolutely the best, had 2 meats beautifully cooked, cauliflower cheese as a extra best I've had for a long time plus plenty of gravy. Visited again few days later 6 of us once again service and quality of food outstanding, excellent choice of drinks behind the bar, we will be back next year
