Reviews for The Kings Head
Decent working people's pub. Cheap beer, good atmosphere. Jukebox can be a bit too loud at times & could do with a better variety of ale as they only have Doom. They don't do food.Kid-friendliness: Not really for kids. It's an adult drinkers pub.
Great pub couldn't recommend it enoughLast time I visited it was 1983 and Nigel was landlord.I'm still serving at HM pleasure but when I'm eventually released I'll pop back in for one.I'm using a burner in case you're wondering how Im posting from inside. Tony lets me use it in return for favours.

I was in Plymouth visiting my old student pubs from the 80's. Used to go here before heading down to Union Street or to Fiestas! Still a brilliant pub, great value, great customers, good staff. Why students prefer 'posh' ale houses with over priced trendy beer is beyond me when there are brilliant pubs like these. Def back next time I am in Plymouth.
