Probably not quite right to judge this public house on a quiet Tuesday evening (most of the pubs in this area also suffer with clientele that can only be described as being in the doldrums earlier in the week), unsurprisingly it looks like they get a lot busier towards the weekend, with a lot of live music advertised on the walls. Been wanting to go here for a long time and it did not disappoint.Plenty of Ciders, Perry's and Cyders (look up the differences) to choose from, or like me, have a taster board of 3 x 1/3 pint glasses so that you can say you've had all the ciders in the house.The atmosphere is friendly and everyone gets on great with each other. Can't come to Plymouth without a quick stop at the Cider house! As you'd expect from the name they have all the ciders you could ask for, boxed and off the tap. The staff are very knowledgeable and will let you try before you buy. There's plenty of seating inside although it can get a little cramped. The mens toilet could do with some work too.
