A lovely place to sit in and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff .we landed on them near closing time and the staff treated us a party of 7 like royalty nothing was to much trouble even a 3rd bottle of prosecoFrom the cellar .engaging and friendly.
On the Cask Marque Ale Trail and my first stop during my visit to Plymouth. There were only two ales to choose from, but both were in prime condition and worthy of the Accreditation awarded.The history of the pub is displayed on boards around the pub walls, and is well worth seeking out.Traditional, for those who prefer their hostelries more earthy.

Lovely atmosphere and since they have done the front of the pub with the sun terrace, seats and tables its a real sun trap watching the world go by.My Guinness was good but after returning from Ireland it was not up to my standard but that's my taste, everything else fab, service, atmosphere.
