Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. Always stop here on an evening before we board the ferry to France. Unfortunately this time because I walked in and stood at the wrong side of a little barrier near the till (to obviously order and pay) I was told in a very rude and abrupt manner by the server to stand the other side, as the side I was stood on was for café ordering. First time visit yesterday after a recommendation from my dad who is regular. So hot and fresh! Both fish and chips made to order - weren’t taken from hot stand. Fish was huge, really fresh and thick. Good batter. Tasty chips and just the right amount. Nice curry sauce. Great location - can also enjoy the sea views. Will definitely be back!
