We saw this place on the way to dinner and decided to skip dessert at the restaurant we visited and have a crepe instead. It is a restaurant, but appeared closed, instead it offered takeaway crepes. There was a large choice of fillings and the crepes were made as you waited, they were lovely, far better than we anticipated!

We ordered takeaway pizza, which they were doing during lockdown. The service was quick, well-organised and friendly. The pizzas were superb with excellent ingredients and light and crispy bases!

Having visited this lovely chilled restaurant for over 25 years I’m happy to say their food is still amazingly superb. This year covid has interfered and they have adapted perfectly - still great food but just in a box, take away carton. Pizza part of the week and then burgers and pasta mon- wed. I’ve been twice and haven’t been disappointed- front of house Jane is so friendly and chef husband cooks the best food- happily satisfied with their take away food in this weird covid world we are living- it’s a must if you are staying in Salcombe . See you next year - hopefully we will be eating in them

There’s a reason that 30 years on this restaurant is still going strong.That says more than anything in a town where it’s not easy out of season to operate.I lived in salcombe for 20 years and noticing 30 years in biz did make me feel old I must admit!!!!Anyway, great food and drink and bloody good fun :)Adam Stevens

My husband used to come here as a child and according to him, its just like it used to be. It's a restaurant totally designed with children in mind, the meal & drink names are all pirate themed and our daughter absolutely loved it as did our two nieces. Food wise, portions I feel are on the small side for an adult but its a great place when you're down in the area. Only tends to open during school holidays.
