Good coffee and hot chocolate with delicious warm scones on a wet and windy afternoon.

Staying a week in Salcombe, we tried SCC early on, and every day thereafter! The coffee is absolutely the best offering, whether takeout or drink in. They also do some amazing hot chocolate, with a Devon rum tot if you like. The food is good, although the bread slices can be thicker than most. The cream tea is wonderful. The usual coffee shop cake and pasty selections are excellent. The service is great - the owner(s) taking part in every facet too.Highly recommended.

Went in for a drink, waited ages, went up to the counter to order and was told it was table service. Sat back down, waited another 5 minutes and watched two of the waitresses just chatting and not doing anything. Finally got the attention of the one waitress who very abruptly said said yes you are next. Was extremely rude and no apology for keeping us waiting. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly and the food looked good but think some customer service training is needed for the waitresses. Won’t be going back again.

Best coffee shop in Salcombe! Such lovely, friendly staff. Wonderful coffee, delicious soup and toasted sandwiches for lunch. Great selection of cakes, muffins and other baked goodies.

We spend a lot of time in Salcombe and always visit the Salcombe Coffee Co whilst there. We love the coffee, cakes and vegan breakfast to name a few items and the food served in their evening bistro is the best in Salcombe. We also love the specials board that is updated daily with fantastic local produce. I met my friend there today who hasn’t been to Salcombe before. She was equally impressed and it was clear that other customers also shared our view. We could hear positive comments being made about the food whist they were eating, or when they left and thanked the staff. It was also lovely to see the waitresses chatting to customers asking where they’d come from and if they were enjoying their visit to the area. Thanks to all of the team, we’re looking forward to seeing you again soon.

We visited twice while in Devon this week. Unfortunately the coffee machine broke down on our second visit but there was no objection to one of us bringing in a take away coffee. We particularly loved the toast and marmalade. Our youngster had a chocolate milkshake which was delicious. Good range of cakes and pastries. Friendly staff. The best coffee in Salcombe. Well done.

Great coffee shop in the centre of Salcombe. The bacon sandwich lives up to the description on the menu “a bacon sandwich, as it should be”. The bacon was super tasty and the bread was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend!

We come down to Salcombe regularly because my family live here and pop into this cafe because its good food and coffee but unfortunately one member of staff made it unpleasant last week she rudely spoke to my husband and told him off loudly because we tried to push two tables together so we could all sit together. Because of this a couple offered to move tables which was very good of them .. She quoted health and safety which is funny because we both do risk assessment in our jobs...there was no problem...we didn't get funny but she did...very embarrassing where is good customer service she was obviously a bossy boots and ruined what should of been a good atmosphere, the other younger girls were nice and polite...apparently my husband said she had been rude before few months previously when I tried to take a coffee cup off her to help her she rudely told me not to...not sure if she is in charge when the owner isn't there ...he is very pleasant....I really hope that this individual realises that alot of family and friends visit and this is off putting ...hopefully she won't be there next time we visit...other than that the coffee cake and breakfast is good. I really think that they are friendly more to locals and need to up their game ...

Friendly service and good food. We made the effort to come back despite having to catch a ferry to do so.

super friendly service led by the gentleman who we assume is the owner, nothing was too much trouble and although we only wanted a pot of tea each with a cream tea to share that was no trouble at all, our dogs were welcomed and given treats too. looking at the sandwiches that were being served they looked very good indeed, wish we were more hungry at the time! will definitely return (for a meal) if back in Salcombe.

‘‘Twas a dinner twice, whilst visiting Salcombe. In honesty for a place with a high end clientele the amazing food options were limited. This place was a pop up dinner restaurant from what I could make out, ate twice, both times excellent food and a great place for a lovely meal With excellent quality food and wine. Lots of special, lots of fish and seafood, standout was a fish seafood Kefalonia curry AMAZiNG!
