The pasty shack
BakeryReviews for The pasty shack
Called into the Pasty Shack in Salcombe for a midday snack. The pasty was superb as was the service. Hot drinks available too and all very good value. Thoroughly recommended and would certainly use again.
The pasty in the original version tasted very good. The pasty with tomato, cheese and basil was ok, but I wouldn't buy it again. The filling was red, but I couldn't see any tomato inside. It was also slightly smaller/flatter than the one with the original filling. Both pasties could have been a little bit warmer.
Great little place. Cornish pasty or sausage roll, can’t go wrong. Best in town, the traditional pasty is lovely and peppery but the best is the lamb. It’s like a Moroccan tagline in pastry, couldn’t get any better. Grad a take away drink and pasty and watch the world go bye , nothing beats it . Especially when from here
