Slow service with average food. Waited for over 40 minutes for food to be served. Would not return unless I heard of significant improvements

Very poor value. Crab nachos cost £20 and was a heap of tortilla chips with a sprinkling of crab and mozzarella. Service was ok but I wouldn’t go again

My wife and I visited for breakfast and were hugely disappointed. Small portion (only 1 bacon rasher), poorly cooked (hard poached eggs) and expensive (£15 each for the above + half an avocado + 1 slice of sourdough). The only redeeming feature was the coffee! Super aspect by the water but that can’t and shouldn’t mask the shortcomings of the food.

A visit for afternoon tea, a pot of tea and sandwich for one. A crab sandwich was suggested, it was very nice but I was charged £19 ! the most expensive sandwich I've ever eaten !

Stopped off for cold drinks and a slice of the excellent cherry pie. It was the last slice of cherry pie which caused some lovely banter with the staff who were so nice, friendly and efficient. Great views and all in all a fantastic place to stop. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited yesterday (23/8) for lunch. Lovely view and restaurant is in a great location but that’s where it stops really. When we arrived we were told 20 minutes before lunch service started this was fine with us we were happy to wait and have a drink and enjoy the view. It was table service so we sat and waiters for our drinks order to be taken there was only 2 servers on which was poor considering it was august and lunch time ! When our order for drinks was finally taken we asked about ordering food and we’re told another 15 minutes on top of the original 20 not great with a hungry 5 yr old. This probably should have been our signal to leave but we stayed and eventually ordered food. I asked if I could have a child’s ham sandwich just plain white bread with ham which they said yes. Myself and partner ordered sandwiches also. They arrived nothing fancy in my eyes a sandwich I could get in any cafe or restaurant. And it didn’t help that the waitress serving was more bothered by a wasp than getting us what we needed. She was running around trying to find the fly electric zapper instead. Then we got our bill. Now I know everything is going to be slightly more expensive but I did not expect to be paying £60 for 3 sandwiches 2 soft drinks a coffee and a side of fries I nearly fell of my chair. I was charged £12 just for a child’s ham sandwich! I was absolutely disgusted with the price for what we received. I definitely wouldn’t go back and I would recommend u less you have money to throw away as the food is not worth it at all!!

Unfortunately, the crockery was filthy, the staff were not friendly, nor did they check on us during the course of our meal. The scones were hard and crumbly.

We arrived for lunch at 12.15pm to have our lunch . We were told we would need to order breakfast as they only serve lunch from 12.30 pm ..I finally just ordered a cream tea . Well, that shattered my dream of a Devon scone . The scone was nothing more than what you buy in a supermarket , dry and cold . The full English breakfast that one of our party had looked good and he said it tasted good . The Eggs Royal also tasted good . The view over the water is excellent . The staff were extremely busy .

Hidden away at the back of Crew Clothing, this is a great spot. Lunch process is a little chaotic before 13:00, but once ordered the soup and sandwiches were excellent. Will be back !

I had a lovely breakfast out on the balcony, overlooking the water.

Lovely spot for weekend brunch or lunch anytime. Food excellent, service is as expected given the confines of the locale

Our first visit at around 4.00 pm was lovely with the staff helpful, welcoming and attentive. The tea and coffee are excellent and the cake was moist, not too sweet and huge! Our second visit 2 days later at about the same time was the opposite - we didn't realise that today it was counter service, not table service as before, and in the 2 minutes it took for me to discover that, ask my husband what he wanted and return to place the order, I was told the café had closed. Consistency over the period of 3 days would be nice!

Have eaten breakfast there 2 days in a row as it’s so nice. Full English is top quality as is the coffee. The view is superb too. Highly recommend this place.
