Hidden away at the back of Crew Clothing, this is a great spot. Lunch process is a little chaotic before 13:00, but once ordered the soup and sandwiches were excellent. Will be back !
Our first visit at around 4.00 pm was lovely with the staff helpful, welcoming and attentive. The tea and coffee are excellent and the cake was moist, not too sweet and huge! Our second visit 2 days later at about the same time was the opposite - we didn't realise that today it was counter service, not table service as before, and in the 2 minutes it took for me to discover that, ask my husband what he wanted and return to place the order, I was told the café had closed. Stopped off for cold drinks and a slice of the excellent cherry pie. It was the last slice of cherry pie which caused some lovely banter with the staff who were so nice, friendly and efficient. Great views and all in all a fantastic place to stop. Highly recommend a visit.
