Really nice pub, been our local since moving to Pennymoor in 2020.Great garden, beautiful, cosy interior with a lovely fire. Locals are very warm and welcoming and a decent selection of drinks given the small bar. Food is solid pub fare at a very reasonable price.Also a deceptively large amount of space inside ie a lot of seating area including a skittles room, darts, pool table etc on top of the main drinking/eating area.Couldn't recommend more. Really friendly atmosphere made very welcome as soon as I entered. Locals were very open and engaging. Plenty of space . Great little country pub with a good selection of beers. Can not recommend this place too highly.

This pub is brilliant - the owners are so welcome and it has a great atmosphere. It is reasonably priced (we had a main meal for around £8 and a few drinks) and there is a good selection of food and drinks. It is everything a village pub should be and I’ll definitely be returning
