“Always a great place to stay a few days. We had a cosy room for our stay. Bed was really comfy, room was spotless. Good menu, .. we’ve never had a bad meal here. Fish & chips are the best ever!! Staff are friendly, and on the ball. Just a perfect get away, We will be back soon.”

“An old-fashioned local pub that hasn't changed much over the last twenty odd years when I've occasionally visited it. The food is not fancy but very good, the locally brewed beer is excellent, and the staff are efficient and friendly. It really is like stepping back into simpler, more honest times. The parking's difficult though. (If you're heading out of Branscombe, you need to fork left before the pub and look for the modest parking area on the right just in front of the pub.)”

“Exposed beams (mind your head) in an old tavern atmosphere. Friendly service from staff and food choices from vegan through vegetarian to meat dishes. Great place to eat and relax with friends and family.”
