A lovely pub, with attentive staff. We had reserved a table and were sat next to the fire, which was great on a freezing evening. We both had scampi and chips and it was delicious. We always stop at The Anchor Inn when we come to Beer and always enjoy the experience immensely. Thank you.
Featured in the Good Pub Guide. Popped in for a pint whilst staying in the delightful fishing village of Beer. Fine views over the harbour and a friendly and attentive barlady. A log fire but not on fire in the cosy bar area. An excellent pint of local real ale and a large glass of pinot grigio. Considerably more expensive than a similar order at a locals' freehouse pub up the road. ????

We came here for the weekend for my wife's birthday and I can't praise our experience enough. The room was lovely, the food was lovely but most of all the staff made the weekend for us.
