Despite some middle-of-the-road reviews, we were very impressed with our visit. Very tasty and generous portions, cold and fizzy beer and service with a smile. What is there not to like?!??

Rather stiff, not cosy. The food was uninspiring, edible but dreary.

Tough chewy chicken ,cold rice and a soggy nann bread. Staff also very rude. Thanks for a lovely experience. £20 well

Nice food in a good environment. We had two courses; Samosas and a curry each. Lovely flavours. The staff were attentive, and we felt well looked after.

Had a very tasty meal at the cinnamon Tree. Staff friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant was clean. To me that's more important than the decor.

Staff were friendly and the food was on par with other reasonable Indian restaurants. Prices were fair,

Starters were very tasty and nicely presented . Main courses were good with the chicken tikka Bengal being particularly tasty. The staff were friendly , the service was courteous and attentive.Prices were around average.
This is a rather average restaurant, and could do with some updating. Across from where we were sat, one of the bench seats was held together with packing tape. Not a good look. The service was good and prompt - but perhaps a bit prompt as the waiter was trying to load our small table with our main course dishes while were just halfway through our poppadoms. The mains were piping hot, but we both felt they lacked the real flavour promised in the menu. It's a decent sized dining room, and on a bank holiday Monday at 7pm about 5 were taken. I doubt you'd need to book a table.Parking: The restaurant has no parking of its own. Depending on the time of day, you may find free on-street parking, or may have to pay. Alternatively, there are pay+display car parks in Sidmouth.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access from the street.

We had three different (all vegan) dishes and all three were absolutely delicious and had a distinctly different taste. Generous portions.

Ok- a bit overpriced. £4.50 for a very small side plate of fries. £12/13/£14 for a main with minimal meat pieces. doesn’t include any rice, that’s all extra too

The food was ok, if a little more oily than I’d have liked. But…it was a Saturday evening and there weren’t many people in there, yet the service was slow. There were a couple of ants on the table when we sat down (and ant powder on the floor nearby). My friend ordered a G&T and it came with no lemon, which the waiter fetched for her on request, but after this my friend realised the tonic in it was virtually flat, but didn’t want to say anything else and make a fuss. I would have myself. We only ordered mains and got them an hour after arriving. All in all it wasn’t a great experience and we both agreed we wouldn’t go back.
