Our visits to Teignmouth often involve a walk along the seafront and ending at the Back Beach, with time for a drink or two before the train home. It is a lovely spot to sit outside with a pint to watch activity on the Teign, and is clearly very popular with the locals.

Great pint but very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Nice location but pub is a little tired and has a cordoned off area with ceiling damage.

Really good Guinness..obviously take good care when cleaning the pipes! A good Guinness speaks volumes for a pub...Good choice of other beers,good service,quicker to get a drink than nearby Ship Inn that is always packed this time of year..

Great place for a waterfront drink.
Unfortunately, it's very run-down interior , uncomfortable seating. No atmosphere. They could do a lot better due to the location.
Fantastic nights, great atmosphere made us feel welcome, would definitely come back, welcoming pub and dog friendly so always a bonus
11.30am was quite, the beer was good and staff friendly
