Lots of vegetarian options on the menu and the team are really helpful by swapping items to make vegan full breakfast. The sautéed peppers and spinach was the fav part of my brekkers. Also have vegan spread for toast !Oat milk available also.Parking: 1.50 per hour a couple yards away.

We visited the town and decided on Mrs Gills for a breakfast based on others reviews. On arrival the place was clean and tidy. We ordered two breakfast one large and one regular, one tea, one coffee and juice, When the drinks arrived the crockery was disgusting, this should have been a red flag. We did not use the glass and polished our own cutlery. Food arrived as two small breakfast, when we questioned this a member of staff who hadn’t delivered the food declared they were one small one regular without even looking or approaching the table and then exclaimed we had only ordered small. When we asked for this to be rectified the food was grumpily returned to the kitchen, upon its return it was obvious that it had been sat whilst the rest was cooked. We did not receive a table check, when the plates were removed only half touched and we said honestly how unpleasent it had been we recieved a shrug and the bill. Far from a good first experience - avoid.

Sunday lunch at Mrs Gills is simply the best! Excellent value for money; today a choice of beef or pork or both with Yorkshire pudding (yes included with the pork - yum!) carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese and as much gravy, apple and horseradish sauce you can eat. Then came pudding - lovely traditional selection beautifully presented. Truly the best Sunday Roast ever - I highly recommend a visit. Furthermore staff are engaged and kind - always checking you are content and if there is anything else they can get you. A wonderful experience 10/10 for everything!

Had the most wonderful afternoon tea this afternoon. Everything was perfect, a good selection of sandwiches, fabulous cakes and lovely scones with clotted cream, but the best bit was the cheese straws- out of this world. We have had many delicious Sunday lunches here and cups of coffee but this afternoon tea was the best. Next time we have visitors, we will be bringing them here for an afternoon tea!

Me and my boyfriend had a roast at Mrs Gills and honestly it was STUNNING. The produce is all local to Tiverton area and you can really tell. Meat was falling apart as it was so tender. I have a gluten allergy and they accommodated me perfectly so I can have a roast too. Staff are sooo lovely and I always have a great experience there. Restaurant is always clean and tidy and the atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and homely. They have an excellent selection of gluten free cheesecakes and cakes/desserts. As someone with a gluten allergy, this place made me feel so included and I didn’t feel like a bother :). My boyfriend had the normal roast and he fell in love with all of it ( particularly cauliflower cheese). The prices to portion were very generous and great value! Deffo be coming again for a roast! Thank you so much! :)
Mrs Gills is very welcoming with friendly helpful staff. The restaurant is spotless, staff always clearing and cleaning. Customer service was amazing. The menu has a great selection of meals something to suit everyone's needs. The food came out hot and good portion sizes. Top quality ingredients and locally sourced which you could easily tell when eating. Prices were good and very fair for the quality of food you are getting. This was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Everything about this restaurant was perfect.

Delicious home-made scones, freshly baked; served with fresh fruit. The food was served promptly by cheerful, friendly staff & the restaurant is very spacious & very clean. There are also several tables outside. We'll be back.

My family & I were having a day out in Tiverton, there was 11 of us!! We popped into Mrs Gills to see if they could cater for us, and they did beautifully! Really friendly staff accompanied by really great food from a very well stocked menu! Definitely worth a stop if your in the area! ???

We found this place by chance on our journey through Devon and would definitely go back. We had the full breakfast, freshly cooked and delicious. I was able to have gluten free sausage and toast. 10/10. Helpful and friendly staff.
