Me and my boyfriend had a roast at Mrs Gills and honestly it was STUNNING. The produce is all local to Tiverton area and you can really tell. Meat was falling apart as it was so tender. I have a gluten allergy and they accommodated me perfectly so I can have a roast too. Staff are sooo lovely and I always have a great experience there. Mrs Gills is very welcoming with friendly helpful staff. The restaurant is spotless, staff always clearing and cleaning. Customer service was amazing. The menu has a great selection of meals something to suit everyone's needs. The food came out hot and good portion sizes. Top quality ingredients and locally sourced which you could easily tell when eating. Prices were good and very fair for the quality of food you are getting. Had the most wonderful afternoon tea this afternoon. Everything was perfect, a good selection of sandwiches, fabulous cakes and lovely scones with clotted cream, but the best bit was the cheese straws- out of this world. We have had many delicious Sunday lunches here and cups of coffee but this afternoon tea was the best. Next time we have visitors, we will be bringing them here for an afternoon tea!
