So much flavour to the carvery veg and tender meat. Some magic applied to the Yorkies to make them extra crispy. Crackling light and puffed. Loved it! Kids love the milkshakes.

There was a fly in the bbq wings and one of the burgers was on top of the bun. Chicken burger was really dry and poorly presented, beef burger cheese tasted weird and the chicken wings were really salty. £120 for terrible food!

We recently stayed a few nights in Torquay and fancied trying The Shack due to a friend’s recommendation, we were really impressed with the service and food options and we would definatly recommend trying it if your near, the food was amazing me my husband and 14 yr old left very satisfied!!!

WOW! Just the most awesome, tasty, Sunday Lunch we've had in a very long time! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was so well cooked and tasty! The Yorkshire puddings were off the scale. Thanks for such a great dining experience.

We are from North Wales and last visited here 6 yrs ago. Our return visit did not disappoint. Lovely friendly staff and great food. The creamy garlic mushrooms were stunning and our piri piri chicken was really tasty. Look forward to coming back the next time we are in Torquay!

A welcoming smile to a slightly noisy but respectful group, then scorned upon by other local establishments. Well not here. All the staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was amazing for a group booking, with plenty of choice. The hot dogs and burgers were extremely well received. I will return again in the future for maybe a more refined evening, but this place is an amazing choice for a chilled out and comfortable setting where you can let your hair down and still be treated as a valued customer. Service and customer care is worth more than just a bit of food, and The Shack certainly delivered. It was also good to see the chefs at work in the open kitchen area, and they should be proud of what they delivered. Thanks to all.

We were staying in the area for a couple of days and has seen this place highly recommended on Trip Advisor so decided to have dinner there one evening. So pleased we did. Ordered a burger based on the fact they were hand made from local area, and my word it was good. Staff were just lovely and service all round was fab. I would echo the other reviews and highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was excellent without being overbearing. We visited after hearing how good the burgers were, and although I'm not a burger eater I must say if they all tasted that good I would have them more often. we missed the starter as we had been told about the size burgers and must say that suited us very well. How anyone could double up was a mystery to me. Overall, great simple food at a very reasonable price.
