We ate here on the 28th of December for my 30th birthday. We were originally planning on going to The Waddling Duck Bistro, but they were closed over the festive period. This restaurant did not disappoint. On arrival, we were greeted & shown to our table, politely asked if we would like our coats taken away for us. It is hard to be negative about The Orange Tree. The food was good, the Lobster bisque lovely, bass and lamb well cooked with lots of vegetables on the side and a nice cheese board and apple tart. The staff are great and the location and interior are good. I would give it five stars except its all a bit dated! If you are looking for a good meal in a fine dining environment you should not be disappointed but don't go expecting cutting edge cuisine with a modern décor etc!
