“Our second visit here but under the new management since we last visited it well exceeded our expectations. Upon our we had a warm welcome from Oz who checked us in and briefed us on options. Our room No 5 was simply fabulous. Huge room with a bath in the bedroom. We did use it once and not only did it fill quickly it was lovely and hot. Bed and pillows perfect had great sleeps. Bathroom very large too. All tastefully decorated and furnished. Spotlessly clean. Biscuits and bottled water in the room daily. Breakfast was the best helped by the lovely smiling Jess. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Great asset to the team. Breakfast fantastic value as a resident as you could have whatever you wanted. Granola yoghurt honey particularly good as were the pancakes with crispy bacon. To be fair all the staff we encountered were the best. The only place I would stay and its location on the River Dart is unbeatable. Highly recommend.”
