It was a very busy Sunday just before Christmas. We hadn't booked, and there were four of us! We chose our drinks and waited on a comfortable settee by the fire.We didn't want a roast, something tasty to keep us going, and they delivered! Thank you to all the lovely staff who made my family boxing day meal such a delight.May I say I am regular and I have always found the standard of service to be outstanding and the people that work at the pub are very friendly which makes me feel part of an extended family every time I visit

Food was absolutely phenomenal, we went for something to eat fairly late as we arrived late.Everything we were served was fresh, I can’t remember the last time I had proper fresh scampi.The burger was absolutely lovely, cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.Staff were lovely and the drinks were good too.Super reasonably priced, if you go make sure you dine because it’s an inn / pub but the food is certainly heads above any other pub I’ve ever been to.
