Didnt stay but went there for Sunday Lunch and was not disappointed. Tender meat and perfectly presented veg. It was amazing. The Maltsers do not skimp on portions, and the location is very pretty. Overall if you are in the area and want a spot of lunch definitely drop in.Food & drinks: Brilliant food. Good portions and a location where you can while away the hours just looking out of the window.

The food was not good. Fish was fried so heavily and not good quality. Very disappointing. The roast may have been better.

Outstanding food, fabulous riverside location, great staff. Absolutely love it here, have eaten many times and the food is always exceptional. Have now stayed over too and the rooms are cosy comfortable and great value.Rooms: Great value room, cosy & comfortable. Fantastic shower very good water pressure.Food & drinks: Lovely fresh seasonal menu, beautifully executed, 100% the best food in the area and very reasonably priced.

Lovely location, however the rooms need a refresh. We stayed two nights and on both occasions were woken by a fire alarm at 2am. The staff did not offer any reimbursement for the inconvenience. Overall, not a good stay.

V nice place, awesome brekkie, v helpful staff - especially the morning guy. Only slight downside was I only got half a fish for my fish n chips so me + the dog had to supplement the evening meal with a pack of crisps. But all round pretty good and there was a tonne of salmon at breakfast so that makes up for it.

Loved having this place to my own. Beauty of waking up next to the River Dart. Sunday Roaat was exceptional!Food & drinks: Sunday Roast was great, and the barmen are being trained in excellent cocktail making (just so you know)!

Couldn't fault any of the food. The decor could do with a more modern touch. Food was very very good and perfectly cooked, the flavours also very good. Highly recommend this place.

Great position,lots of seating indoor and out.Good menu.Good selection of wines and beers.Plenty of parking.Efficient and pleasant staff.

Lovely welcoming pub with amazing food. Our daughters aged 10 and 8 loved the pasta and chicken nuggets and we loved the meals for us. Desserts were very impressive (and large!!) Thank you

Went today at lunchtime for family birthday.Arrived at 11.50 am and sat in car as website and google said it was open at 12. Waited for 40 minutes, phoned 3 times no answer.Delivery driver left food on steps at front door as no one answered.Really annoying as it was quite a way from home and checked web site and google to make sure it was open.Went to the watermans up the road and had a nice meal.
