We visited here for the first time on Boxing day with family and had a really great meal. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and there was plenty of choice on the lunch menu from baguettes to jackets and burgers, all at very reasonable prices ( see photo) . Having just moved to the village, I came here to try their wares. Served by the beautiful, friendly and delightful Jodie. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt very welcomed. I ate the liver and bacon, it was soo good, it took me back to my youth. Can't wait to eat here again. This is now my local boozer, the beer is a canny drop.

We spent a few evenings here on our Christmas holidays.. What lovely welcoming landlords! We felt so welcome and part of the community and the food was fab! Our dog has limited mobility therefore needs a pushchair... The whole walk up to and into the pub was easily accessible making our trip even better! We can't wait to come back!
