Stumbled upon Cherries whilst walking. The menu had a great choice. I loved the loaded ice coffee; better than Costa and Starbucks! The staff were friendly and asked how we were! I’d highly recommend!! The flapjack was yum! They had a variety of snacks to keep us fueled for the rest of our walk!

This lovely place was a highlight of our trip to Weymouth this year as we had never visited before. A delightful building set in a beautiful part of Abbotsbury village. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We all chose the Dorset apple cake with coffee which was so good and very fresh. We would definitely recommend you visit here. The lunch menu also looked great so we will look forward to a return soon.

As part of the Soap Making experience at Duir at Abbotsbury we were treated to a wonderful lunch at Cherries Cafe. I love this cafe. It has been beautifully decorated is welcoming and comfortable. There is good atmosphere. The food is on a small menu giving a limited choice. However, the food is absolutely delicious and all tastes are catered for. Can't wait to go back!

Visited here in October half-term. Lovely food - particularly the adults chilli. Also lovely customer service - my 6 year old refused to eat his lunch and they very kindly prepared some toast and cut-up carrots, pepper, apples and cheddar for him - really appreciated!

Lovely setting in the village. We just had a cup of tea on two occasions but the cakes looks delicious. Will go back again. Very friendly.

We stopped by for coffee and ice cream. The double espresso was below standard but the americano was great. We loved the ice cream. Nice atmosphere, close to the beach but also close to the car park. I cannot say anything about the food. The service was very nice!

Lovely, fresh food - we had sandwiches and the side salad was amazing. Not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Dog friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

Everything is homemade and boy can you tell! We stumbled upon this place after our trip to the Swannery and we are so glad we did! The menu is wonderful and imaginative. You can really tell how much love and care has gone into it. We ordered a few small plates to share and the Mediterranean platter we were blown away. We will definitely be returning! The front of house staff were so attentive and welcoming. They added a really nice personal touch. After our meals we finished with coffee (delicious) and a variety of cakes to share . Every slice was beautiful and moist.

Closes at 4pm but after offering us menus we were then told, at just 2.50pm, that they had decided to close the kitchen early, so no lunch menu after all! We both decided to choose the Victoria sponge - but disappointed as it was dry and well passed it's best. At £4 per slice it should have been at least moist. Refunded and apologised but not somewhere we will be returning to or could recommend based on this experience.

Excellent friendly service. The best gluten free rolls I've ever tasted. Super clean. Very pretty inside plus a garden for sunny days. Highly recommend!

We’re so glad we walked down the hill to find this place. On our first visit, at the start of a long walk, we intended to just have a coffee, but the cannoli on the counter looked so tempting, we couldn’t resist. This was another good decision – they were absolutely fantastic. The coffee was wonderful too. The staff were lovely and helpful. We returned the very next day, and made sure we were there for lunch. This was another superb treat. The ciabattas we had were amazing – imaginative ingredients, crammed with flavour. Again, the service was smiley and welcoming – despite being rushed off their feet in the heat. Highly, highly recommended.
