We regularly visit the Crown, which has had a major spruce-up both inside and out in the past couple of months. The food is still very good value and the drinks a reasonable price. It's a shame that the food specials have been dropped, they helped the pub to stand out from the many others in the area, perhaps Marstons will reconsider their decision in the not too distant future. Friendly cosy place to share lunch with friends.Good food served quickly.Great selection of guest ales and soft drinks ideal for lunchtime.Beckie is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Easy to park.No invasive loud music at lunchtimes so you can actually talk.
