Great venue! Cans of beer or Becks on draft at the bar. Reasonable prices. Sound in the venue is excellent and staff are on point. If you're in the area, or are a band on tour, you could do many worse things than getting to a show at The Anvil. Very happy customer (performer).
Great little venue downstairs in pub. Sound was a bit loud for the size, so sometimes hard to make out songs at first! Bar reasonable price and selection, can take a little while to get served when busy. Toilets are shoking ? but thought it was a great live music venue.
