Quiet afternoon beginning of January, so a bit empty, as you would expect.Good service from the barman. Nice proper pub. Food looked good. But we didn't eat. A bit out of the way .
This is special local pub offering good atmosphere. They serve a variety of beers, which are including changing guest beers. The food is exceptionally good. Seating is comfortable. There are many regulars.

Wonderful pub. (Now in my top ten) Went a couple of times over New Year break. Cracking selection of well kept beers plus lovely food. Staff/ management so friendly and accommodating. Only downside _ 150 miles from home! Visit if you can.
