Fantastic and long standing chippy with quick service, friendly staff and tasty food. It seldom disappoints and always has the traditional available alongside some quirky specials now and then! Always worth a visit.Parking: Parking is on the opposite side of the main road but is often full. There are double yellow lines, just before and after the shop location, where someone with a blue badge could stop. There is a car park within 5 minutes walking distance.Kid-friendliness: The staff always have a smile for kids and will happily take an order from them!Wheelchair accessibility: This is a level shop with a flat entrance from the road. Inside can be a bit cramped for wheelchair users if it's busy but not unbearably so.

Well tonight's fish & chips were the worst that we have ever had, chips resembled warmed up up and over cooked, fish was chewy, not a patch on what they used to be, very disappointing.£27.80 not well

Tonight we had scampi, chicken nuggets with large chips to share. This is the first time in a long time that we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Usually the chips are undercooked, pasty in colour and not very enjoyable.Tonight a different lady was doing the frying and the chips were excellently cooked.Just hope she is here to stay.

Disgusting hard batter on a piece of £8 haddock, made me feel sick it was so dry…. Chips were still raw! £11 for fish and chips and couldn’t even eat it! Never again - disgusting! Thanks for wasting myhard earned cash! Won’t be recommending you ever!

We had dinner from here to take away, all food was very nice, not greasy, but chip portions were a bit skimpy.

Had fish and chips Friday lunchtime. Chips were OK. Batter on the fish was terrible and the fish felt undercooked.AVOID ?

We were passing through Bridport during a ride back to Cornwall from Gatwick Airport. We fancied Fish and Chips .We rang Longs as they were the first to pop up on Google. The lady was really nice and said the food would be ready in 10mins. We called in and fish and chips were done. We went back to our car to eat them. What a disappointment. The batter although a lovely colour was tasteless and very heavy. The fish was so chewy and also tasteless. The chips weren't bad so we filled up on those. Very disappointed.Parking: Just find a space in the high street

We got some takeaway chips here. I was slightly worried when I saw some of the Google reviews, but the chips were really nice. The portion size isn't the biggest for the price, but the chips were definitely decent ?

I ordered 1 large chips, mince pie and large cod,the pie was really nice and I had the large cod...I have to say the chips were stale and over fried,we couldn't eat them because of the ammount of fat and stateless...we use longs chippy a lot,but this time the chips were inedible

Takeaway was great, really good crispy batter on fish. Was busy (Friday eve in summer hols) but friendly and efficient service. Would definitely recommend!

We had cod and chips. The cod was really nice, thick, tasty and batter not overly heavy. However the chips let it down. Needed cooking for longer, soggy and not at all very nice.

the portions are tiny and my bag is filled with grease. i got a savaloy and chips and they just threw the sausage in the microwave with their bare hands. that’s rediculous. no gloves or anything. and i orderd large chips and i have half a small bag. i also orderd a milkshake and it was runnier then water. absolutely disgusted.

Food was ok. I wasn't a fan of the batter and the fish was a bit dry. The chips were also oily. I wouldn't go back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free batter.
