We were overjoyed when we called in travelling home to Devon. Musicians and singers were producing wonderful songs and music. What a treat and food we had was very nice. Would call again if we pass that way.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample parking and access.

This was our second visit to The Crown for lunch. The food and service is excellent here. The barmaid being exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The food is home made wholesome (and generous) pub food, well cooked and very tasty. The food is also very good value for money and we would highly recommend a visit.

It was a half way point for my family to meet, (2 hours away from my home) It was easy to book a table, the service was very good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended..Will definitely be back ?Kid-friendliness: Staff seemed happy to have children in the pub

I visit often for drinks which is always a fun, friendly experience. Recently I've been adding Sunday roast to my order and it does not disappoint! Always a wide variety of meat and veggies cooked perfectly. Along with the live music, it makes a fab afternoon/evening. ?

Called in for lunch on a Monday and was very impressed. Greeted by a cheery bar lady and pleasant background music. Good menu choice and we had an excellent meal served by the chef in person. Recommended and will definitely be back!

Visited a few times whilst on holiday as it was the nearest pub. Wasn't overly impressed by hospitality, tried to book a table with 3 days notice for food and were told to ask again tomorrow as to whether they could accommodate - they couldn't. It very much felt that because we weren't local to the area that we weren't welcome. Drinks.... particularly San Miguel was absolutely extortionate £7.20 a pint.... my eyes nearly fell out when I saw the price on the till! If it hadn't been such a walk to the next nearest pub in bad weather I wouldn't have bothered returning.
