Pubs in Charminster

“I absolutely love coming to this pub when I'm visiting my parents in Maiden Newton. Great outdoors, great indoors, has an open fire during winter, really well-kept ales and a great affordable menu with different specials whenever I visit. But even more than all this the staff are always so welcoming and they have now been there quite some time so we have got to know them well. A special thanks to Alex, who always makes like for me (and my family when they are with me) and my parents feel so welcome. Look forward to coming back soon, Mark”

“Second visit because the first was fantastic. I had a carvery on my first visit with my uncle, and it was devine, and so was the dessert to top it off. Good sized meals ?Second time round I had a start and main and it was equally satisfactory and the good is always exquisite and breathtaking to eat. Koodles to the chefs. The waitress was very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant and even asked if there were any dietary requirements, which is always good ?Overall, I love visiting for food, and the atmosphere of being able to eat is pleasurable.Parking: Plenty of parking - I guess it always depends on the days and times because it loads up fast. However, that could also be to do with the popularity of this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: It's a pleasing place for kids to visit and be able to have family meals out.Wheelchair accessibility: Car park leads to the entrance and its all ground floor.”
