20 The Square, Stratton, DorchesterWe were just travelling through Dorset and this pub was recommended on the local top 10 of pubs. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. The guy at the bar with long hair was really funny and asked if I was an assassin ???I thoroughly recommend this pub and the food was great with extra gravy. If I am ever back in Dorest I will revisit. ?

The Sun Inn, Lower Burton, DorchesterOld, traditional English pub. Oak beams, sofas and bench style upholstered seats.
Excellent roast carvery served all day, every day. Beef or Turkey options with ALL the trimmings. Superb crispy, fluffy roast potatoes. Great service and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

16 North St, Charminster, DorchesterWent to the gamekeeper for Mother's Day.
The Sunday roast was brilliant,you had a choice of 5 meats, and if you wanted to, you could have up to 3 on your plate and as much of the veg, etc as you wanted. It's really good value for the money. What let it down was the fact that they forgot to bring our desserts out and as 2 of them were ice cream by the time we got them ( had to chase them for the desserts) they had started to melt. But above all it was very good, very friendly. Well worth going and value for money.
