Service nice as always. Coffee excellent. Fresh bakery quality has declined. Croissants stodgy and undercooked last two times. Nero stands out for fresh bakery items normally.If there is a bad batch staff need to be on top of it. And either offer free or discounted, since for a premium price there needs to be good quality

Staff are very friendly, always polite and smiling. It creates a warm, welcoming and cosy atmosphere, with delicious cakes and lovely drinks! The baristas clearly know what they are doing and somehow manage to make you feel attended to even when they are very busy with a big queue and lots of orders. A gentleman who was a barista in training even complimented a customer’s hair while carrying a tray during rush hour - they’re just so attentive. Excellent staff, I hope they are paid well!Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan milk alternatives

Lovely coffee (I choose winter blend) strong and you can really taste some ingredients as they describe it. Croissant was really crisp and fresh, not like other Coffee chains.

There were only a few people sitting down and no queue when I came in. The two staff saw me but no acknowledgement at all... Finally, one of them said hello and came to the counter to serve me and I was ready to do my order but then he just completely ignored me and started casually chatting to his colleague instead. I walked out and went to Costa on the other side instead!

It was really busy, there was only 1 staff member and she was flustered. Gave me normal milk when i asked for soya. Asked for an iced coffee which came warm with no ice. The whole place was a disaster. Dirty, used plates, cups ect not cleared away. Obviously not enough staff.

He made me an amazing coffee and his energy was very positive!! honestly he should be promoted as the face of the store. Ps I like his tattoos ?

Lovely friendly staff.I am slightly disabled an the door was held open for me !!I was on my way to an appointment!! But had a takeaway coffee which was lovely an I sat outside a while on comfy wicker chairs in the sun a while.Later I returned an tryed their new flavour of the month coffee to take home an it was delicious.I will certainly go back. When back in Christchurch.
