1st visit to Mum's cafe and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly, the food was very good and the latte was excellent. Very reasonably priced, so well worth a visit.

My grandad took me out for lunch today and I don't have a single complaint about this cafe. Best mac and cheese I've had in years. I'm a chef and I was jealous of how tasty their food is compared to my works. The staff are amazing, very welcoming and great for a laugh. I will definitely be coming back.

I went to this cafe last week for a breakfast. The lady who served me, I assumed was the owner, seemed very abrupt when she took my order! I was asking her a question about the small breakfast and was shocked when she abruptly ignored what I was saying and talked over me and said: "beans or tomatoes?"I couldn't believe it!? She seemed in a tearing hurry when there wasn't a lot of people in the cafe at the time?I won't be using this cafe again.Terrible service, and very expensive!

First time back here since 6 years honestly nothing changed great quality ingredients for a reasonable price anyone looking for a good breakfast then this is the place to go.

Popped in for an all day breakfast. Great cup of tea to welcome as we sat down followed by two buttered doorstep toast slices and the breakfast was really good. Excellent bacon and sausage. The black pudding was a good inclusion with a half slice of fried bread. Fully recommend.

A real gem, just what you want from a cafe. We drive 30 plus miles to go to mums. The food is just superb and mum and her team really put in 100 percent to everything they do! Look forward to going again and again.

I was in Christchurch after dropping a passenger off and stopped at this wonderful little cafe. A great buzz of chitter chatter when you step in. Took my seat and was immediately kept busy by reading all the little plaques on the walls, with quotes and one-line jokes. I was served by the lady owner (I think) very promptly and my breakfast was delivered freshly and beautifully cooked. When paying, the same lady gave me a flyer and said I could phone in advance to book a table and even order my breakfast, so it would be ready when I arrived! Highly recommend.

Its the least I can do for one of the best breakfast baguettes I've ever had, im not surprised you were so busy when we visited this morning. Despite how busy you were , we were away with our takeaway order in super quick time!2 breakfast baggys 2 coffee's and a cappuccino, very reasonably priced! We will be back.
