It's close enough to walk to so no problem about a designated driver. On a warm summers day sitting outside with a cold Beverage is a good way to end the day. It's on a main road so don't expect a river frontage. But the staff are cheery and service is good. The regulars are a happy bunch and the atmosphere is what a pub should be. Use it or loose it. Support your local pub.
Came here Monday for some lunch as the pub down the road was closed was thoroughly surprised at the quality of food, the chef on shift did not disappoint all meals came out promptly and everything was piping hot and delicious. 10/10 from us ? deffo coming back for food in the future!

Great pub, great atmosphere, great people. Not many pubs like this left!! Good food, live sports, meat draw, quiz night and some superb bands and acts appearing. Keep an eye on their FB page for what is happening. Well worth a visit :-)
