Pubs • “Fantastic! We were delayed at Moreton Station (just across the road), and decided to pop in for lunch. Excellent size portions, quality ingredients and really tasty food. Service was also prompt. Choice of a courtyard or garden to sit it when the weather is nice. We'll worth a visit if you're nearby and hungry for a decent, wholesome meal.”

“We spent 4 days and eves going to this pub while camping at Litton Lake . and you just couldn't ask for anywhere better than here
Bands in the garden , pop op food tents little stream running next to the garden . It was heaven , the locals and staff where superb

“This is a GEM of a pub. Despite growing up near Dorchester and coming into town all my life I only started visiting this pub recently and it is simply terrific.
It’s an old property with atmosphere, terrific hosts, and good beer. On Mondays and Tuesdays they have a special deal on real ale, £2.90 a pint, which is a bargain in this day and age.”

“A proper pub. Excellent, home cooked food. Excellent beer. Interesting decor with some humour including Private Eye front pages. May not be attractive to young ones who can't entertain themselves. Highly recommended. Bookings advisable if eating, especially on weekends.”
