Pubs in Dorchester

“We had Sunday lunch at The Brewers Arms today. The food was excellent. Well seasoned, a wonderful array of vegetables which were cooked to perfection. Cauliflower and broccoli cheese was very tasty. We'll definitely visit next time we're in the area.”

“This was a great experience of Sunday lunch at an old English pub (free house actually). My wife tried the lamb roast with vegetables, accompanied by a half pint of light ale. Absolutely loved it! I tried venison sausages and mash, accompanied by a locally made raspberry lemonade - the kind pubs served when I was a boy. Both great. We would have tried their deserts, but no room left after the big main course. Husband and wife hosts were lovely and the regulars also made us feel welcome. Small word of caution- they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.”

“We enjoyed a Roast Beef Sunday lunch at the White Horse Inn. It was utterly delicious, we both cleared our plates. It's such a lovely pub with a great local atmosphere, we are just visiting the area for a short break, but we never felt like we were not welcome..This was our second visit for food, we came back as the Friday night fish, and chips were so good.So much gluten free options are also available.Dietary restrictions: Many Gluten free options available, including the Friday fish and chips.”

“Stayed here for 3 nights and ate in twice. The room was clean and adequate but not serviced during our stay. The bathroom was modern and fresh with a lovely walk-in shower.Quality and quantity of food was excellent, as was the service, attentive and friendly.Overall, a good atmosphere and friendly place to be.The location may not suit everyone, but there are plenty of walks nearby, and a railway station across the road to venture further afield.”

“Had a lovely stay here with my.wife. We traveled down for a 2 night stay and were made to feel so welcome by the owners. The chalets were comfortable and quiet and as huge animal lovers, the free roaming Guinea pigs were the icing on the cake. Thank you for being such great hosts.Parking: A fair amount of spots located outside the pub. There was always plenty of space during our stay”
