Had lunch today, Mother had homemade Steak and Ale pie, I had the Steak and Kidney pudding, we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Service was very good, my shandy was nice and cold and Mother had a lovely cup of tea. We will be back. Thank you.
Called in here of a beer but having seen the menu I also had a wonderful traditional dinner. The place is just a good old pub with a good selection of beer and lovely home cooked food. I had chicken pie, with chips and peas, cant go wrong with this and the pie was just wonderful, better than mother can make as the saying goes. Will happily recommend this place, with a good old publican to anyone and when down here next time will make it my go to pub.

What a find. Great Beer, great food and a friendly atmosphere. Carol's pies are simply phenomenal. Honest home cooked food.Not too many bells and whistles but you'll walk out with a huge smile on your face.Thoroughly recommend.
