“You should visit this pub purely for the interior, a feast of nautical embellishments, displayed with care, and attention to detail. The huge collection of artifacts and empheria make this a pub to remember. A good selection of ales on the bar too.”

“Great little pub. Really friendly staff and customers. No food at present (kitchen being refurbished I believe) but soon to be back on line. They let me bring a sandwich in from the shop a few doors up. Great selection of beers.”

“Spacious and Festive Pub offering Green Kings Beers Wines and Spirits and also features a contemporary menu of food. I had a Cheese Toasty which could have been improved if the Waitress offered any Tomato, Basil or Oregano. A Side of chips was well seasoned and tasted great. £2.09 is about standard for a large cup of tea, but unfortunately for me no alternative milks. The landlord kindly added some wood to the wood burner for me.”

“Had a surprise 90th for Mum Saturday afternoon. Food was amazing, bar staff really spot on, Thankyou so much.Shame you stopped doing food during the week but looking forward to one of your Roast dinners on a Sunday sometime in the future.Parking: Parking is at the back of the pub used to be twice as big years ago. 12/14 cars quite easily parked.Kid-friendliness: The fact that children were welcome was enough, we didn’t have that many but they were well behaved and amused themselves there was a pool table that the older children played on.Wheelchair accessibility: Mums disabled and accessibility was good with a disabled toilet too.”

“We did a bottomless brunch, amazing and definitely the best place to do it. Food great and most importantly for our night constant drinks being "racked up" for us. Some bottomless brunches you do they take to long to bring the drinks which is not what you want for unlimited. Great service ”
