Just wasn't my day when we visited, firstly wanted 3 jacket potatoes and chilli for lunch and was told they had no chilli. Went and chose again from the menu, 1x fish pie was excellent, 1x mushroom tagliatelle also excellent. Then tried the steak pudding and it was not available so had a burger that was tasty but not really what I was wanting. Afters do recommend having the crumble and custard yummy, and the cheesecake was good also.Will definitely go back as wanting a steak pudding...read full review

The best pub you could go to in dorset. The food is incredible it tastes good it looks good it comes out quick. Spot on. Service is incredible all the staff are lovely, friendly approachable all round amazing people. The atmosphere is amazing lovely tables and chairs everyone's always happy and having a good laugh. Highly highly recommend.

Popped in here for lunch with my little one, just by chance as we'd noticed the outside play area there, and the local soft-play was shut for the day.The food was really nice, staff were all smiling and more than happy to help, and the climbing frame, slide and swings out the back are a great addition.
