“Tradional pub in the middle of town ...sells a few ales & usual suspects in keg & bottles. Small patioed rear garden with seating. Pleasant enough experience considering we we not locals who seemed friendly enough. Reasonable price for drinks is a thumbs up & the roast potatoes & cheese & biscuits was a nice touch.”

“Looked like it's been done up recently. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. Expect solid portions of tasty British food rather than fine dining. Kids menu was OK.Atmosphere was a bit flat as we were the only ones in but it was midweek out of high season.”
