Well we're do I start. I work away from home at least 3 weeks out of 4 and I'm in a different accommodation every night. So I can tell you I ain't come across a place to stay that as meet all my needs. But I after admit the rose and crown meet them allRoom very modern very clean a large smart TVFresh milk and water in a fridge out side the roomsLovely and I mean lovely bathroom .All the accommodation I stay in you can guarantee a electric shower which I personally ate .Not at the rose and crown proper POWER shower. Great parkingGreat friendly staff.Any way enough of me credit a place that needs credit were its dueAll I can say is 5 xFor everything get your self on four in a Bed u will win it with flying colours.I will be staying here the next time I'm in the areaAnd I will book in advance to make sure I get a roomThank u rose and crownAnd well done xxxxx

Homely pub, that serves some quality food. Guest ales and live entertainment, a proper community pub!Parking: About 6 spots on site, with another 4 across a quiet road. More street parking within a 2 minute walk.

Close to where we were staying we tried the Rose & Crown for a birthday meal for 8. Barman was super friendly, food was excellent and price was good value. Pint of Haka was spot on. Food wise we ordered chilli, gammon, braised lamb, lasagne, beef roasts and cheesy chips. All tasted fab and no complaints. Well worth trying out if you are local or just in the area.

8 of us waltzed in here last night for a birthday meal. Never been before, just saw it was at the end of the road so gave it a go. Top move. Staff were Uber friendly and accommodating. And the food? Well, it’s been 14 hours since I ate and I can just about move now. It was quality. Tasty, filling and not shy on portions. One of those meals that you know after the second mouthful you’re going to struggle to finish it but you’ll graft through as it tastes so good. Not one criticism from any of us. We were all stuffed. Still had room for duff though and predictably that was awesome too. Top banana!!!

We stayed locally for a few days, on two evenings running we had our evening meal at the pub.The service was fast, polite and even though one evening we were close to closing time the staff patiently waited until we had made our choice and finished our meals. The food was good quality, good portion size and good value for money.Would highly recommend.
