Really friendly team, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Dinner was really good. Freshly cooked, 'proper' food. Good portions and delicious. Breakfast was just as good, with local ingredients and (just as importantly) great coffee! Definitely good value for money.
We stayed in one of the rooms. Really impressed. Very nicely presented with some lovely little touches. The rooms are modern, light and airy, with everything you need for a comfortable night.
We are actually local, but it was a treat so that we could spend more time with family. I would definitely recommend the Rose and Crown, and hope to visit again sometime for Sunday lunch ?

Chequers Inn Lytchett Matravers
75 High St, Lytchett Matravers, PooleI really enjoyed going to the Chequers Inn in the past over Christmas with my Work Colleagues The Christmas Food was star quality and the staff are very friendly, nice and polite.
