“Visited today. As someone who prefers an unpretentious "Traditional Ale House" with excellent real ales and good straightforward food, on the basis of today's lunch this is the best pub I've ever been in. Our pints were spot on, and our meals were outstanding. A real gem of a discovery, only shortcoming is it's a tad over 200 miles from home!”

“Visited this delightful little shop/cafe on Monday and had a cheese and ham toastie and a piece of fresh strawberries and cream sponge cake and a latte absolutely lovely the staff were very friendly helpful and attentive lovely little establishment.I visited again this afternoon while waiting for a tarmac lorry for coffee and cake I had a piece of absolutely delicious lemon drizzle cake and we were served by a very lovely young woman again very friendly and attentive would definitely visit again if in the area and would recommend to others”
