Casual drop in for lunch. Wed 6th Dec. Establishment boasts very pleasant "olde world" charm. Waiting staff also very friendly with not even a hint of old world. Quite the opposite in fact, very much of the " young world" and most certainly, no doubts what-so-ever about charming. We are not big eaters so opted for the light meal option and then shared a sweet. The eventual bill was reasonable beyond words. My son, friends and I went to the Halfmoon pub on July 14th, last day of my trip. John's interest and helpfulness are much appreciated. The pub is very friendly, clean and local. It would be a pleasure to be your guest again. Best regards from Turkey. Hande

Great atmosphere at the half-moon. Bar staff are very friendly and we loved sitting outside. They have put up some flower boxes which gives you a feeling that your not sat right by the road. Didn't eat this time but food is always good. So if you fancy a great meal,friendly staff and good vibes I would recommend this pub
