Whilst looking at a potential property in Yetminster, we stopped off at Old School Gallery Cafe. What a fabulous family run business. The Easter decorations were amazing as was the rest of the cafe. There was a great selection of sandwiches, cakes, cream teas and even a savoury option. Our coffee was good and hot. Much welcomed as it was raining and very windy. We also came away with a selection of cakes for later.

Disappointed to have to sit facing a large TV screen that the staff insisted must be on. Not very welcoming.

What a great place. Very friendly and nothing seems to much trouble. We went in with the intention of having a cream tea, coffee in our case, but ended up having a light lunch finished off with a piece of cake and a coffee. A really good choice from the menu and plenty for vegetarias and vegans. How they manage to get the variety of food out and in a timely fashion from such a compact kitchen remains a mystery. If you are in the vicinity and in need of quality food and drink, hot or cold, make the detour, you won't regret it. As a bonus, it doubles as a retailer of original quality arts and crafts along with home baked bread.Vegetarian options: From our experience, if they have the ingredients and the time, it will be made available for you to order.Dietary restrictions: One in our party has a nut allergy. We made this known at the time of ordering. The staff couldn't have done more to ensure she remained safe, more so with the cakes which are all baked by themselves and some of the ingredients of some of the cakes contained nuts.Parking: There are limited spaces off road. It is also important to respect the allocated parking spaces of the residents. There is plenty of street parking.Kid-friendliness: The staff were friendly to everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: It is possible to gain access via the main and only entrance. It can be quite busy, but the staff are welcoming and accommodating.

Home cooked food at its best. I would highly recommend the homemade quiche. It came with coscus and a lovely salad. Next visit I'm going for the delicious looking home made cakes. Very reasonable prices and excellent service. If you are in Yetminster and your hungry this is the place!

We adore the Old School Gallery cafe. We've been many times and have enjoyed every visit. It's recently changed hands but is as delightful as ever. The food is good, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is fantastic.Kid-friendliness: I always get a bit anxious about taking the kids out (SEN 12 year old and a very busy 3 year old) but we all felt very welcome at the Old School Gallery cafe.

Such a cute little (not that little!) place with great character. Delicious latte. The baked goods looked AMAZING but I didn't sample them. Plenty of seating outside too, in a quiet courtyard type area. Dog friendly.

First time called in this café having found on google maps and extremely pleasant find. Under new ownership june 23 and what a delightful team. Henrietta and gene and the rest of the staff made us so welcome; even though near closing they made us a late lunch and the coffee is great. We didn’t try cakes but they look gorgeous. They have some sophie allport gifts, beautiful wool rugs and to my delight stock bread making supplies which I couldn’t find in the supermarkets. They are pet friendly and made a fuss of ours. Although it’s summer i can’t wait to call by in winter too as it’s such a pleasant place to be. Beautiful fabrics everywhere including the seating, making the whole ambience a treat. Also the perfect stop off on walks which pass by the café or coffee/catch up after the school run. They even sell doggy ice cream. I wish this team well in their new venture as they certainly value their guests and deserve to flourish. We’ll be in again soon, thx all for such a pleasant experience.Vegetarian options: PlentyParking: Right outside the door either in car park or on street.
