We have been to this pub on numerous occasions for lunch and always great food. As we were a couple on our own on Christmas Day we decided to book for lunch. In past years we have been to other pubs and ‘posh hotels’ but this was honestly the very best Christmas lunch we’ve had. We just returned from Christmas day dinner family of 6 .From the moment we arrived everything was fantastic.We were presented with a beautifully laid table and added extras .The food was amazing ,presented beautifully and plenty of it .We could not fault it at all .The young staff serving were very attentive and went out their way to make it a great experience. I have been here a few times and am very happy with the service. Great young lad took our order for drinks and food. The landlord was in and out delivering meals to the more vulnerable in the community but he took time to chat with us. What a star ? .Parking: No car park but we have always been able to park in the road.
