Me and my fiancé came here today for an afternoon tea which we prebooked. They were super accommodating for me as I’m a fussy eater and went all the way to make sure everything was perfect, enjoyed it so much I’m considering booking for my hen do! Not to mention the food was delicious! Thanks for making our anniversary special

First visit here on Friday came for a weekend away I chose this place on it's name because I love cake ? it did not dissapoint we came on the Saturday as well. Cakes in the pictures are banana ? chocolate ? chip loaf and Banoffee I preferred the second one as it wasn't as sweet. I wish I could have tried them all. ? good coffee ☕️ always a must reasonably priced nice decor and very welcoming staff would definitely recommend coming here for those who have a sweet ? tooth! But come early as it gets busy very quicklyDietary restrictions: They have gluten free cakes ?

Absolutely love this place. Ordered a cake for my Dads 60th that was a hit for all involved. Seriously consider it worth the 2 and bit hour drive the next time i need a special ocassion cake.

Popped in for lunch having a day out in Swanage. Busy but quiet. We both had sourdough toasties, which came with a generous serving of fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. All of which was delicious. A pot of tea for 2 completed lunch. A slice lemon drizzle cake and a slice of chocolate cake to go and the whole lot was £31. Service was very prompt and the staff friendly and helpful.

A day trip to Swanage in the sunshine. Popped in for lunch. Pot of tea for 2. 2 sourdough toasties with enough fresh homemade salad and coleslaw to sink a battleship. Toasties were delicious. Service was possibly one of the fastest we've ever experienced anywhere. Took home a slice of lemon drizzle cake and chocolate cake. Total was £31. Very good value. The place itself is busy yet quiet, cosy and very clean. Staff were welcoming and polite.

Excellent place for tasty coffee served in pottery mugs. The cake choices are varied and imaginative as well as being a treat. We visited this establishment twice while in Swanage. I ordered a bacon sandwich with wholemeal bread, the slices of bread were doorstep, and the bacon plentiful and tasty, value for money it was. We went back the next day for lunch and all three of us chose different filled toasted sandwiches which were served up with side salad and other treats such as coleslaw and couscous. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly, the service was excellent. I can highly recommend. Booking is advisable even in the winter season. Go treat yourselves.

Didn't get a great vibe from this place. The cake and coffee were okay but very overpriced. It was boiling hot as well, with tables cramped next to each other. Staff were also a lot more friendly and attentive towards locals/regulars than non-locals. We were obvious out-of-towners and found the service quite cold. When we entered, we waited a while to be acknowledged by staff. When they finally did, they didn't greet us or crack a smile when we greeted them. Then as we left, we were shocked by the fact a blonde waitress/staff member with short hair abruptly shut the door behind us. No "goodbye" or "thank you", just unwarranted rudeness. An earlier review on here mentions a rude staff member - I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same woman
