“Stopped here for lunch while visiting corfe. This is 5 mins walk from the station but it's worth it! We had the southern fried chicken ciabatta's for lunch and it was absolutely delicious and generous portion of chips and salad come with it. Lovely pub and lovely staff, highly recommend.”

“The vegetables are cooked in their own way with flavour and taste. Cauliflower cheese eg gorgeous. Vegan broccoli dish unbelievable with the most loveliest sauce of chimichurri ?
Staff are really so kind. I had a little situation with my eye and I was looked after by the owners who genuinely care about their customers… the food and cleanliness is brilliant - I’m going to enjoy my beef pie now… Ellie the waitress is lovely too! The waitress Ruzana is soo kind and genuine and gentle, she belongs in a place with such lovely caring owners. Second time I have been here in two days just because of the gorgeous food and lovely vibe. Thanks. ? p.s can I have a free pie for loving you ?”

“We stumbled across this pub on our holiday, having just spent the day at nearby Monkey World. We were looking for somewhere to eat and wow the Duke of Wellington didn’t disappoint. We tucked into generously portioned roast beef dinners, while the children devoured chicken and chip basket meals. We were served promptly and professionally, by the friendly and welcoming staff. As a bonus there was live music going on with a small crowd creating a hip and joyous atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this pub for fantastic food, as well as to kick back with kind people.”
