This place HAS A ROARING LOG FIRE!! perfect for a cold winter evening. Food is good pub grub. . Manage your expectations, its a pub. ! Reasonable prices and a great effort made with decorations for Christmas and so a nice vibe all round.We went by car but I bet it would be a perfect destination to a robust country walk. We'll be back!!
Popped in on a Sunday evening on the off chance for an evening meal. From the very first words from Isabella, we were made so welcome. Service food and atmosphere were second to none. We were not rushed and were last to leave. Throughly recommend this wonderful traditional pub, lovely to see they still exist. Nick & Angie.

We stayed in the village for the last week of April 2023. Terribly bad of me to be composing a review this late. We were a short walk from the pub so it soon became our local. The food and service was consistently excellent! There were always interesting specials available. The next time we hop across the pond from Canada to Corfe Castle, this pub will definitely be visited again!
