Pubs • “We stumbled across this pub on our holiday, having just spent the day at nearby Monkey World. We were looking for somewhere to eat and wow the Duke of Wellington didn’t disappoint. We tucked into generously portioned roast beef dinners, while the children devoured chicken and chip basket meals. We were served promptly and professionally, by the friendly and welcoming staff. As a bonus there was live music going on with a small crowd creating a hip and joyous atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this pub for fantastic food, as well as to kick back with kind people.”

“Stopped here for lunch while visiting corfe. This is 5 mins walk from the station but it's worth it! We had the southern fried chicken ciabatta's for lunch and it was absolutely delicious and generous portion of chips and salad come with it. Lovely pub and lovely staff, highly recommend.”

“We popped in after a bike ride and had the most fabulous Sunday lunch we have had in a very long time. Both myself and my husband had the chicken roast with all the trimmings. The gravy was to die for.!!! All the veg tasted amazing and the Yorkshire was light and fluffy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommended x”
“We popped in here after a day out. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 pizza and a fish and chips which came quite quickly. Friendly staff. I would would highly recommend this pub. lovely.”
