Looked at the reviews, it looked like it would not be great. However, it was quite close. So though we would have a try and had a nice meal, the staff were friendly. I could not fault the service or the food. Many thanks will pop in again when we are down that way again.
Had Sunday carvery 19/6. Superb value for money and good quality. Meat was lovely and moist. Good choice of vegetables that were for us were well cooked to our taste (perhaps less so if you like yours crunchy). First course was large but couldn't resist enjoying a lovely home made rhubarb crumble and custard. Everything was kept topped up with fresh vegetables just before you were called up to be served.
